Building works at home can be disruptive at the best of times and sometimes you will have difficulties with the people carrying out that work to the proper standard or the price you agreed upon. Sometimes this makes getting the job finished properly very difficult and contractors may leave without having finished if the relationship has completely broken down.

The starting point will be your contract and often these are not written down as a single document or even if they do, they do not include everything which was in fact agreed. We will advise you on that contract, your rights and advise you on what steps to now take.

Often expert advice from a surveyor will be required to prepare a formal report relating to your claim and which can often narrow down the issues early on in a dispute.
