Constructing a retaining wall can maximise the size of your building plot.

Here in Woking a piled wall was constructed using 350 mm diameter piles at 500 mm centres to an overall depth of 7m in sandy clay. This enabled adjacent ground to be excavated by 3m, creating a flat surface where 2 houses could be constructed on a previously unbuildable plot.

The piles were subsequently faced with brickwork for an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Neighbouring property boundaries restricted access, so we used our TD308 rig, which needs less than 760 mm width.
