This system is generally used in cohesive soils, although
it can sometimes be used in chalk or sand with a clay
content.
The handy rig shown can operate in headroom of just
4m and its 1.80m width allows it to manoeuvre through
narrow gaps to get on site. Yet it can still bore piles
up to 17m deep.
