After continuing failures in both the private and public sector in proctecting data, the Information Commisioner's Office will from the 6th April 2010 have increased powers. These include the power to levy fines of upto £500,000 and the ability to conduct compulsory audits. OAOA can advise on a range of data protection issues.

Data Protection Training
OAOA is pleased to announce that, in conjunction with the FLA, our first DPA training day that is open to members of the public looking to learn about DP at either an Introductory or Intermediately level.
