Llauro
The pretty hillside village of Llauro with its school, café, post office and church is about a quarter of an hour from Ceret, a pleasing market town renowned for its cherry orchards and museum of modern art. The house, in the heart of the village, has been newly refurbished with comfort and character in mind. Take a look at a big picture of the village of Llauro. Downstairs there is a comfortable sitting room which leads to a kitchen with a vaulted brick ceiling. Together they make an attractive living and eating space, 10m in length. On the first floor there is a double bedroom (double bed) and a bathroom with bath, loo and separate shower. On the second floor there is another bedroom with a double futon and a folding chair bed. Linen and towels are provided at £6 per head. Opposite there is another loo and a utility room. This has a washing machine and sink and also a second fridge and a microwave oven for meals on the roof terrace. |
