KEYCROWN MAINTENANCE Planned & reactive
We use our computer network to track jobs
through to completion and monitor performance. A twice daily report is
run which shows the status of jobs at any given moment. An automated backup
system currently resides on one of the workstations. Jobs are processed
using bespoke software. All communication can be by E-mail, telephone
or fax. The initial call should be to our help-desk from where we will
then action the job.
For emergencies outside normal working hours
contact can be made via mobile phone which will be answered by our operator
not an answerphone. In an emergency our average response time is 2 hours
- however, sites are telephoned prior to despatching an operative. All
vans are at the operatives homes so they can be-readily available for
out of hours calls. Our operatives are under strict instruction to only
undertake works issued by our office, if additional works are requested
by anybody else our operatives contact our office who will then clarify
with the relevant help-desk or surveyor from where the call originated.
Over 95% of all calls are dealt with on a one visit fix.
Our supervisors call in on a random basis
and check through client's maintenance logs, where applicable, and inspect
work carried out by our operatives. In addition, on an ad hoc basis our
office telephones and asks the manager if he/she is happy with works carried
out on their premises by our operatives.
