Fluorel is a manufacturer of Fluorescent Lighting Products and was established in 1946 by its founder, Mr Ben Heath and his brother, under a railway arch in Leyton, East London.
Fluorel progressed from strength to strength
and moved UK offices in 1965 to Woodford Green, Essex where
they have been until present day.
Production facilities have expanded and are at full manufacturing pace and have been for the last 20 years. The office, showroom and warehousing is also based here.
Its founder, Ben Heath, saw vision and success for Fluorel as being a leading pioneer in Fluorescent Lighting design and manufacture and this has been the driving force for the company ever since.
The fact that fluorescent lamps save energy,
are eco friendly, and that lighting regulations demand
greater efficiency ensure that Fluorel is always evolving
its energy saving products.
During the years Fluorel has established
itself as a leading lighting and luminaire provider for
many Local Authorities, Health Sectors and Education markets
in North London and the Home Counties in th UK. Over the
last 35 Years the Company has driven through exciting new
trends and has been stable in the lighting market place.
1st August 2009
Fluorel is pleased to announce that David Jones and Mark Weller have become the new owners of Fluorel Ltd. After detailed and amicable negotiations with the parent company, Fluorel Holdings, the MBO was concluded on 31st July 2009. With exciting plans in hand to extend the product range and improve facilities, the Company is well placed to build on the support of its loyal customer base and will continue to offer quality products to the commercial and specifier markets.
1st November 2010
As part of these expansion plans Fluorel moved to new premises in Hainault, Essex on 1st November 2010, offering improved facilities for customers and staff alike.
June 2012
Fluorel Lighting Limited relocate to new premises in Hockley on June 18th.
