Please find attached our revised proposal. It will not be possible to do telephone interviews with all the OEEG members within your budget. If you think this might be an issue for them, we could look at doing telephone interviews will all of the OEEG members plus your extra stakeholders and forgetting about the face to face interviews. This would give everyone the chance to have their say, but you would lose some of the depth of information, so it depends which of these is your priority really. Personally I would go for a combination of telephone and face-to-face - using more than one research methodology does give you better quality information for project evaluations I feel, but I'm happy to go with either - the cost would be roughly the same.

I've trimmed the budget a bit to keep it under 4k - for example I had allowed 90 minutes for each face to face interview, but have cut this to a maximum of 60, so we will just have to be strict about getting through the interview whilst giving them space to talk within that time. In the end the budget came out at exactly £5 less (before VAT) than our first quote!

I've built some slack into the timescale so it may be that we get the end of the project before my projected end date - it really depends how much we have to chase people. From what you said at our meeting I'm assuming we will have to do a fair bit of chasing so that's been built in.
