Medical Kits

We have, between us , been designing Medical Kits for sailors going offshore for many years. These have varied from small kits for around the cans racing and cruising boats to kits for yachts competing in the longest and hardest races in the world including the Jules Verne Trophy, the Global Challenge races, the Whitbread/Volvo yachts and the single handed sailors crossing oceans.

We can design a kit especially for you and be able to incorporate all the knowledge and experience that we have gained over many years and with the feedback from the sailors themselves.

Training

We have been training sailors for a long time as well, helping them to be self reliant at sea and to be able to use their medical kits safely.

Support

With the increase in technology available it is now possible or us to be able to stay in contact with yachtsmen 24 hours a day wherever they are in the world. This has changed somewhat from my days of talking to Peter Blake on Enza via Portishead radio and linked to Perth and then to Enza via SSB-- now they just email you or ring you on your mobile phone! This means that we are able to advise them very easily from an early stage of an illness or trauma and therefore reduce the risk of complications.
