This course looks at the causes of falls in the Elderly in detail. We consider the medical problems that may cause people to fall and the environmental factors that lead to falls. We look at how these falls can be prevented and ways of carrying out and recording risk assessments. We also deal with the practical aspects of the fallen service user using both techniques and equipment to get people safely from the floor.
