Micro-DCI Process Controller

This versatile family of compact, flexible, modular units has been accepted, used and proven around the world. Micro-DCI process control instruments are particularly well
suited for MicroMod’s target applications in the water/wastewater treatment and specialty chemical industries. The family includes the popular 53MC5000 process control station as
well as single loop controllers, manual loaders, and indicator/totalizers.

Micro-DCI 53MC5000 Process Control Station

The 53MC5000 is designed to perform any process application, from simple PID to the most complex control strategy. The cornerstone of the Micro-DCI product family, it is part of MicroMod’s suite of hardware, software and systems for real-time control, supervision and process management. The controller is available in one, two or four-loop versions with expandable I/O and functionality. A high-visibility graphic display provides standard operating screens and supports custom screens for easy operation of any process. A library of standard configurations, easily modified through a menu-driven program from the front panel, can be expanded to accommodate custom control strategies. Using the Micro-Tools configuration software, user programs can be written in a high-level language for batch and advanced control. The PLC/Printer option provides direct communication with most popular PLCs and serial printers.

Standard serial communications and optional high-speed, peer-to-peer redundant networks allow integration in virtually any plant monitoring system including MicroMod’s Micro-PWC software.

The 53MC5000 forms the basis of MicroMod’s WaterPAK series of pre-engineered packages, the 7000 RetroPAK for Bailey 7000 series controllers, and the SupPC RetroPAK for older, DOS-based Supervisor PC systems.

53SL6000 “Micro-Mite” Controller

The Series 53SL6000 Micro-Mite is the cost effective solution for a wide range of control loop applications, from basic to complex. Nominally a single loop controller, the Micro-Mite also performs cascade and override control. In addition, the Micro-Mite controller’s expandable I/O capability allows it to be used in ways not possible with other single loop controllers. Use the built-in standard control strategies, or customize your own from the front panel or with the incredibly easy to use LoopMaster software package.

In addition to PID control the Micro-Mite can provide ratio, cascade and override control; time proportioning, motorized valve and heat/cool control. Math and logic, setpoint and hold, autotune and function generator are all standard features. Communication to a host PC using RS-485 and Micro-DCI Communications Services and OPC Server make the Micro-Mite an economic small system solution. For best price-performance and low installed cost, you can't beat the Micro-Mite!
