Motorised valves are fast becoming the control element of choice in many applications. For users of this style of electrically-operated valve, ABB now offers a real alternative to feedback potentiometers and cabling. ABB’s unique ‘boundless’ control algorithm dispenses with expensive cable runs and instead uses the process signal itself to ensure accurate valve positioning. 1/8 DIN Motorized Valve Controller

The V100 is designed for direct valve position control of motorized valves. Two 5A relays are fitted as standard for either direct control of the positioner or via intermediate relays – plus retransmission of the process variable for connection to a datalogger or process recorder. The V100 is capable of measuring a wide range of process signals such as temperature, pressure, flow and level.
