Communications

All metering products we supply have sophisticated communication features including RS485, Ethernet 10/100BT copper or fibre. When a power management system is supplied, C-Matic System’s engineers design the required communication system and backbone. Alternatively the system can “ jump” onto a existing controls network existing in the facility.

Dual redundant fibre Ethernet network

As part of our scope of supply C-Matic Systems will provide Ethernet communication hubs/switches, either commercial or dual resilient, terminal servers, protocol converters and IT hardware. Communication equipment is usually supplied pre-installed in wall enclosures for site installation by others. Our preferred IT hardware supplier is Dell.
